Once your students have logged into their Sumdog account they will be taken to their main Sumdog landing page (after they have completed the Warm Up).
(Do note we are currently working to improve the student's experience and you may see updates to this page during the next few months).
On this page students will be able to choose which game they would like to play by clicking on the available games. Here is a full list of all our Sumdog games.
If they would like to access the old City page they can click on the City panel on the left.
This will then take them back to the old City page where they can choose the Activity they would like to work on. If you have set Challenges or Assessments for your students they will be able to select them from the City page in the green activity panel. By default, the Activity will be set to Training.
To return to the Game Selector students can click on Play Games or on the Games panel on the left.
They will then be able to choose the game they would like to play and answer questions as part of their selected activity.
Why has the City page changed?
We are continuing to improve our user's experience by updating our site. Over the next few months, we will continue to update the student's pages to make the site easier to navigate.
We will also be adding in feature to help students understand what they are working on and identify their progress. We do apologise for any confusion or inconvenience during this time.
Why can’t my students access the games selector?
The games selector runs on HTML5 and will need to be used on a supported browser. Unfortunately on some older browsers (such as Internet Explorer) you will not have access to the games chooser. Here is a list of the supported browsers and OS version.
I am having trouble accessing the Sumdog app on my tablet/smartphone.
For best performance we advise that you keep the Sumdog app up to date with the latest app version.
You will be able to install the latest app update from either your Apple, Google Play or Amazon store through your tablet/smartphone.
If you would like to update the Sumdog app through your tablet/smartphone’s setting page here is a general guide for the different systems.
My student is using a tablet/smartphone and we are seeing the message ‘Sumdog is not supported on this device’. Why is that?
Due to compatibility issues if you are using a tablet/smartphone your students will need to access Sumdog through the Sumdog app. This is because games on the app are designed to work and run on tablets/smartphones.
If you do not have the Sumdog app installed on your tablet/smartphone you can download it here.
