All the latest games on Sumdog operate on HTML 5 as standard. That means accessing Sumdog through a web browser requires a browser and version which supports HTML5.

Chromebooks are supported as they use the Chrome web browser.

You can run a Sumdog browser test here to check which browser you’re operating on.

Sumdog also requires WebGL as part of an HTML5-enabled browser. You can check the status of WebGL on your browser here, or see our Troubleshooting section for common browser problems.

Internet Explorer is not supported for HTML 5 of WebGL. We recommend you update to a newer browser to overcome this problem.

Sumdog app

Sumdog games are also accessible through the Sumdog app on Android, Apple iOS and Amazon Fire. This makes it compatible with all major tablets and smartphones. We recommend keeping your Sumdog app updated to the latest version to ensure the best performance.

Important Update - changes to support for Flash and Internet Explorer

Adobe, the creators of Flash, will be stopping their support for Flash Player on December 31 2020. Here are more details from the Adobe website. As a result, all supported and future games on Sumdog will no longer run using Adobe Flash Player and will instead be using HTML5.

Microsoft has ended their support for all older versions of Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer 11 will currently continue to receive security updates but will be the last Internet Explorer browser. Internet Explorer does not support HTML5 or WebGL which are needed to run the Sumdog games. Here are more details from the Microsoft Lifecycle FAQ.

Due to this, Sumdog will be removing support for Adobe Flash Player and Microsoft Internet Explorer on January 2020.

In order to ensure that our users will continue to be able to access the latest features on Sumdog we advise using one of the supported web browsers.

If you have either Chrome, Firefox or Edge installed on your computers here is how you can search for the web browser.
