Sumdog's competitions allow students to compete for a place on their school or class leader board. As they play, students see a leader board showing the results.
Students can play individually or in teams, which makes it a great way to motivate your students and encourage a team spirit.
Teachers can set up a competition to focus on a particular set of skills, or let Sumdog decide what the student should practice. This means that you can group students across the entire school, with teams composed of students with different abilities and ages.
When students participate in a competition, they'll play the same range of Sumdog games, however, their score will count towards their place on the leaderboard.
Students need to be covered by a subscription to participate in a competition. If you'd like to try out this feature, get in touch.
